ADVANCED COMPUTING RESOURCES
The Distributed and Parallel Computing Cluster (DPCC) The cluster currently contains 97 machines, 193 processors, 190GB RAM and over 72TB (7.2X1013 bytes) of disk storage. Future plans for the cluster include the acquisition of a number of networking test instruments and a Shared Memory Processing system (SMP).

Animal Care Facility. 12,000 square feet animal care facility in the Life Science Building, and has been deemed one of the best in Texas by the USDA.

  • NanoDrop® ND-1000 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer The Nanodrop is a low volume spectrophotometer that does not require a curvette. This can be used to measure the quantity of RNA/DNA and protein. It only requires 1µl of your product.
